A Fun Side Project, My New Blog
For quite a few years, I have been fascinated with the culinary arts. In high school, I considered going to culinary school… but I went the more traditional route instead, Business Economics, who would have thunk :). However, my love for food never died. The Food Network is my favorite channel on the tube (though I don’t have cable anymore) and Alton Brown is my favorite celebrity chef and the source of a great deal of inspiration. One Christmas, I asked my sister for a couple books– apparently they weren’t the most traditional gifts to request and she thought I was kind of weird. The books? Harold McGee’s On Food and Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen and Shirley Corriher’s Cookwise. Awesome, awesome resources. I HIGHLY recommend picking these up.
Okay, Okay… that all was a long and sort of not really maybe slightly related introduction to the following.
I’ve started a new blog that is completely unrelated to the world of wedding photography. It’s a Food/Beverage type blog mainly created so I can keep notes and thoughts on different things I’ve tried– an experience log perhaps. I don’t haveĀ intentions of it being an internet sensation, but shucks that sure would be swell ;). However, I do hope that it will be valuable to someone out there. So if you want to keep up with my crazy adventures, check me out, I am The Uncouth Palate. Oooo catchy.
