I had a chance to assist Carrie Tabb for Laura and Ty’s wedding. The ceremony was at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and their reception was at Summerour Studio.
Towards the end of the ceremony, Laura hopped on the drums. That was pretty awesome and definitely a first!

Amy & John planned for an outdoor wedding at the Atlanta History Center but bad weather moved the ceremony inside to the Grand Overlook ballroom. Even though it was a last minute change, their ceremony was gorgeous and it looked as if they were planning to have it there all along. Thankfully, the rain let up long enough to let us play outside. It stormed pretty hard during their ceremony (which made for a pretty cool backdrop) and right as they were leaving. There was some cool lightning that I was able to grab a few shots of right after they left.
They had an awesome choreographed first dance (you can see them doing some last minute practicing right before the reception) and fun props at the reception that everyone had a blast using.

I’m excited to share images from Ashley and Seth’s wedding at Wormsloe Plantation in Savannah, GA. The grounds are beautiful- live oaks and Spanish moss everywhere! Their wedding was a great mix of Old South and modern styling.
Ashley had a beautiful handmade flower piece for her dress made by Abany Tschupp of Brown Linen & Co. and gorgeous flowers by Joy Thigpen.
